Youth Work

‘Every Good Work’ (EGW) is a Christian youth programme working in the city of Wakefield.  We aim to bless young people and invite them to explore the Christian faith, work to bless their own communities through acts of service and grow in their own leadership abilities.  

As such we engage in a number of different areas of work.  This includes work in schools, youth groups, social action projects and youth churches.

We aim to build good and positive relationships with young people both in and out of schools, encourage participation in social action and then reflect on those experiences. The aim is then for the young people to have their own ideas about social action projects and eventually to lead them.

This is an exciting opportunity and we are privileged to be be working on this and helping young people learn more about themselves and be a contributing part of their local communities.
